Alterations & Custom Bridal
Studio & in-house fittings
Fittings will be held in Rachel’s light filled loft studio in North Fremantle. Fittings are complimentary and usually last one hour.
Sometimes it can be difficult to find the time to attend a fitting. Rachel is available to come to you for an in-house fitting in the comfort of your own home ♡
* If your location is 10km+ from North Fremantle, in house fittings will incur a $20-$50 surcharge.
How long will it take?
Alterations
Bridal gowns, bridesmaids and suit tailoring will usually take between 3-6 weeks and include 2-3 fittings.
Custom Design
Allow 3-6 months for your custom design to take shape.
Custom designs take time and patience for patternmaking, toiling (prototype), fabric shipping and sewing.
If your wedding is fast approaching, we’ll do our best to work with your time frame.
Vintage styling
Do you have a gorgeous vintage gown, Mum’s veil or a piece of lace from Nana’s dress you’d like to incorporate into your bridal look?
Rachel has a particular love for re-working vintage items.
She’ll work with you to create an aesthetic and sentimental blend of old and new, talking you through design and fit options for a look that’s unique to you and your special day

Pricing
All alterations include complimentary fittings and are charged at $110/hour.
Outlined below are some common bridal alterations and the general time frame required for completion.
Bridal Gown/Bridesmaid Alterations
Single layer hem: 30 minutes-1 hr
Double layer hem: 1-2 hours
Side seam reduction: 1-2 hours
Bust Cups: $30
Men’s Suit Tailoring
Adjust jacket sleeve length:1-2 hrs
Adjust jacket length:1-2.5 hrs
Adjust pant length:30 minutes-1 hr
Adjust pant waist:30 minutes-1.5 hrs
Custom Design
Custom design pricing can vary and will depend on the complexity of the design and the fabrics and trims chosen.

Upon pick up
All finished garments will be returned to you steamed, pressed and hung, safe from the elements inside clear biodegradable garment bags.
